Mary Malady, M.S.W., LCSW #28650
Hello, my name is Mary Malady and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I have been in the field of social work for over twenty years.
I have worked in private clinic settings as well as inpatient psychiatric hospitals with adults and adolescents, hospice/end of life care, group homes for pregnant and parenting teens, foster care, blended families, and adoption. I believe therapy is a personal journey towards a healthier more peaceful life and the unique opportunity to live your best life.
I specialize in individual therapy for men and women and work with couples in such areas as relationship challenges, separation/divorce, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, identity concerns, change of life circumstances, spirituality, and personal growth. I take a client-centered approach with a focus on how I can best support your goals and personal development.
I see working with clients as an honor and privilege and I recognize the distinct experience each person brings as they enter therapy. I utilize a variety of modalities including EMDR therapy, mindfulness, the Gottman Relationship Method for couples, cognitive behavioral therapy, and internal family systems. My personal style is interactive and solution-focused. I will meet you where you are and together we will create a partnership for change.
