Jacquelyn Scherer, M.S.
Have you felt overwhelmed by your job, to-do list, and your relationship with others? You’re not alone! Many people struggle balancing work, personal relationships, and finding time for themselves. My name is Jacquelyn Scherer and I would be happy to help you work through your current stressors. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship conflict. I am a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #98308 and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor #3754 within the state of California.
I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches depending on the individual needs of my clients. I regularly practice Solution-Focused Therapy which is a postmodern and strength-based approach to finding solutions to current stressors and problems. I also frequently utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help guide clients to challenge disruptive thoughts and irrational beliefs and replace them with more adaptive and helpful internal working models.
I want to invite you to reach out for a consultation call with me where we can discuss your current stressors and process your thoughts about starting therapy. I strive to empower my clients and am excited to start our therapeutic journey together.
